Ok Reader, here's the truth: I don’t really like (or know much about) basketball.

But every year around this time I somehow get swept up in the brackets, the predictions, the trash talk, the drama. Even though I couldn’t tell you a single stat, I absolutely love the format of it all.

And this year, as I was staring at a whole table full of earrings I’ve made and realizing I really need to start sharing more of my work, a thought popped into my head:

Oooo… you know what would be fun?
A bracket competition of earring styles.

And just like that, The Earring Elements Challenge was born.

Here’s how it works:

I created a bracket filled with different earring elements — colors, shapes, techniques, and surface treatments.

First, you can fill out the bracket and design your Dream Earring.

Then over the next few weeks, we’ll vote on Instagram round by round until one winning combination remains.

At the end of the challenge, I’ll bring that design to life in the studio.

And one participant will win a finished pair.
